Zumalai is one of the frequently visited tourist destinations in the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. The country is better known as East Timor. Zumalai is a charming city in the district of Cova Lima. This is an excellent place to come while on a trip to East Timor.

Zumalai is also known as Map-Zumalai. It lies on the south coast of Timor. The city is placed at an elevation of 199 meters above sea level. As of 2004, the city had a population of 9992 people.
