Puli Khumri - 229 kms Morning departure for the northern Afghanistan as we travel to the heart of Hindukush mountain ranges passing through Salang pass and tunnel at 3363m Enroute we stop at the archaeological site of Surkh Kotal - one of the important site of Bactria which attained its prominence when it was made as an important centre during the Kushan rule. We shall visit the remains of Buddhist temple dating 02nd AD.
