Laga is one of the frequently visited tourist destinations in East Timor. It is a charming city in Baucau District. This is a nice place to visit while on a tour to East Timor. The city of Laga is perched at an elevation of 78 meters above sea level.

There are not many places for interest in Laga. However, there are a few places positioned near the city that are certainly worth a visit. The Baucau District is home to a number of tourist spots.

At the Venilale sub district you can witness the tunnels built by the Japanese when they occupied this area during the Second World War. Looking around this sub district you will come across the Escola do Reino de Venilale, or the School of the Kingdom of Venilale.
