Ko Libong
This large island sits quite close to the coast of Trang province. Little visited, Ko Libong is much cleaner than some of the other islands such as Ko Muk, and the people are polite, honest, friendly and eco-minded. Fewer visitors make it here, but those that do are generally well-rewarded.
The centre of the island is given over to rubber cultivation and there are a number of posibilities for walking trips including walking around the island.
Its a nice laid back kind of place that doesn’t have the jaded feel of some other islands in this area.
Famous for its dugongs, trips can be organised to go and see them through the resorts.
